Where Are RoboCop: Rogue City Save Files Located?
RoboCop: Rogue City save folder on PC and the hidden Backup folder that keeps every autosave since you started.
Last updated
RoboCop: Rogue City keeps saves in a plainly named RoboCop folder in Local AppData. The path is short and there is no account-number subfolder to dig through, so this is one of the easier Unreal Engine games to back up by hand.
Open the SaveGames folder and look for the Backup directory inside it. The game files every autosave there since the campaign started. If a story choice goes wrong hours later, that folder usually holds a copy from before the damage.
Where RoboCop: Rogue City stores this, by platform
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\RoboCop\Saved\SaveGames
Named level saves plus SaveIndex and autosaves live here, with older autosaves in the Backup subfolder. Copy the parent Saved folder to preserve settings too.
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1681430/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/RoboCop/Saved/SaveGames
Proton prefix for Steam Deck and Linux desktops, app ID 1681430. The Backup subfolder convention is identical inside.
Frequently asked questions
Where are RoboCop: Rogue City autosave backups?
In the Backup subfolder inside SaveGames. Copy its contents up one level to roll back to an earlier autosave, with the game closed and Steam Cloud paused.
Can I use someone else's RoboCop save file?
Yes, saves are not account locked. Drop the files into your own SaveGames folder, keep your SaveIndex file backed up first, and disable cloud sync until the game has loaded them once.
