Where Are SaGa Emerald Beyond Save Files Located?
The Emerald Beyond save folder on PC, under My Games with a spaceless folder and per-account level.
Last updated
Emerald Beyond compresses its title to SagaEmeraldBeyond for the save folder in Documents under My Games, with a Steam level holding your numeric account ID. Square Enix PC ports repeat this pattern so often it qualifies as tradition.
A registry key under SquareEnix tracks companion settings, so folder copies move progress while a few preferences stay behind. Finish rebinding after a transfer and the six protagonists continue undisturbed.

Frequently asked questions
Do all six protagonists share one save folder?
Yes. Every protagonist's progress sits under the same Steam ID folder, so one backup covers the whole game.
Why did some settings reset after moving PCs?
A few preferences live in the registry rather than the folder. Reapply options in game after copying the saves over.
