Shadow Gambit splits saves by storefront inside one local folder. Steam, Epic and GOG each get their own user folder, and checkpoints live in gameState subfolders within. The game has no manual save button, so these folders are your only rewind option.
The folder name changed across releases, which orphaned saves more than once. Demo, review and DLC builds each introduced a new user folder variant. If progress vanished after an update, compare the user folders before replaying anything.
