Where Are Skyline Save Files Located?
Where the Skyline Android Switch emulator keeps saves and NAND data.
Last updated
Skyline keeps its world in its app external files directory: switch subfolder for NAND and SD card emulation, fonts folder for shared font overrides, plus GPU driver installs. Saves live under switch nand user save.
Development stopped in 2023, so treat any install as frozen. Android scoped storage hides the tree from plain file managers, which is why the export flow and archive tools matter more than the raw path.
Where Skyline stores this, by platform
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/skyline.emu/files/
App external files root with switch NAND tree and fonts overrides. Saves under switch/nand/user/save per game. Use in-app Manage save data export on restricted Android versions. ZArchiver style tools can browse it directly.
Frequently asked questions
I cannot browse the Skyline folder. How do I get saves out?
Inside the emulator use settings, Manage data, Manage save data and export. Direct file access to Android data is restricted on modern Android, so the in-app export is the supported route.
Where exactly are Skyline saves on device?
Use a file manager with all files access such as ZArchiver to reach the external files tree. Saves sit under switch nand user save in per-game folders. Copy those folders into the matching spot on the new device.
