Where Are Suyu Save Files Located?
Where the Suyu Switch emulator keeps saves, keys and NAND user data.
Last updated
Suyu inherits the Yuzu user directory layout: a suyu folder with config, keys, log, shader and nand children. Saves live deep under nand user save in per-profile folders, with game folders named by title id.
Paths follow the platform: Roaming AppData on Windows, ~/.local/share on Linux. The emulator File menu opens the user folder directly, which is the reliable shortcut across builds and forks.
Where Suyu stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\suyu\
Holds config, keys, log, shader and nand trees. Saves sit under nand\user\save per profile. Use File, Open Suyu Folder in the emulator to confirm the live path. Copy saves with the emulator closed.
~/.local/share/suyu/
Same user directory layout under the XDG data home. Keys and firmware dumps travel with the folder when migrating. Config lives in ~/.config/suyu beside it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find one game's save quickly?
Right click the game in Suyu and choose Open Save Data Location. That jumps straight to the title folder under nand user save, which beats memorizing the hex directory tree.
How do I move saves from Yuzu to Suyu?
Copy matching folders from the old nand user save tree into the same spot in Suyu, then clear the shader cache folder if games stutter. Keep keys and firmware consistent or saves may refuse to load.
