Where Does Soor Store Settings and Cache?
Soor Apple Music player settings, artwork cache and Mac trial data locations.
Last updated
Soor is another Apple Music shell: playback, search, likes and playlist edits act on your Apple library, while the app keeps its own gesture setup, themes, widgets, Magic Mix state and lyrics cache. Songs never live in Soor.
The Mac build adds one wrinkle. It ships as a native app with a free trial alongside the iOS purchase, but the library source is identical (Music app plus Apple Music catalog). Clearing the app is safe for music and destructive for customization. Release alerts and recent searches rebuild from the account.
Where Soor stores this, by platform
App sandbox (themes, gestures and lyrics cache)
Requires the Music app and an Apple Music library. Musixmatch lyrics, Last.fm scrobbles and CarPlay state stay in-app. Reinstall to fix artwork glitches; music reappears on sign in.
Frequently asked questions
does deleting Soor delete my playlists
No. Playlists, likes and library additions belong to Apple Music and persist in the Music app and cloud. Soor only forgets its own layout, themes and cached lyrics. Additions made seconds before deletion may need a sync moment.
where are Soor downloads on Mac
There are none inside Soor. Offline Apple Music files belong to the Music app media folder. Soor streams and controls that library, including the trial build, so manage storage in Music settings instead.
