Where Does Spotube Save Downloads?
Spotube downloads to Download Spotube by default, changeable in Settings. App prefs stay in OS app data on each platform.

Spotube splits storage in two. Downloads land in a Download Location folder defaulting to Download Spotube, confirmed by the maintainer in the issue tracker. Point it at an existing music library and local tracks surface in the app.
Everything else follows Flutter app convention in per OS app data folders. Credentials and preferences stay local to the device, which is also why WebDAV forks warn against committing exported prefs. Docker images instead persist a mapped config volume. Lyrics and artwork cache beside preferences on every platform.
Where Spotube stores this, by platform
/home/<username>/Downloads/Spotube
Default download landing zone. Change it in Settings, Download Location to merge with an existing library.
C:\Users\<username>\Downloads\Spotube
Same default on Windows. The app scans this folder for local tracks to prefer over streams.
/home/<username>/.local/share/spotube
Flutter app data on Linux. Preferences and caches live here. Exact filenames vary by release.

How do I change the Spotube download folder?
Open Settings and change Download Location to your music folder. Tracks already there appear under Library Tracks without re downloading.
Can Spotube play my local files?
Move your files into the download folder or point the setting at your library. Spotube picks up local tracks from that folder on scan.
