Where Does Videoleap Save Exports and Projects?
Videoleap keeps projects inside the app and writes finished videos to the gallery and Photos library.
Last updated
Videoleap projects live inside the app until export. Drafts, timelines, and imported clips sit in private storage, reachable only through the editor itself.
Finished videos leave through the export button into the gallery or Photos library, which is the only copy that survives an uninstall. Treat the in-app project as a workspace and the exported file as the archive. Export first, then clean up drafts without fear.
Where Videoleap stores this, by platform
Gallery (exports); in-app projects (drafts)
Timelines and drafts stay in app-private storage. Export finished videos to the gallery for safekeeping; clearing app data deletes unexported projects.
Photos app (exports); in-app projects (drafts)
Same split: projects inside the app, finished videos in Photos. Save exports to Files or iCloud as well if the edit matters long term.
Frequently asked questions
How do I keep an edit when switching phones?
Finish the edit and export it first. The exported video in the gallery survives anything, while the project itself dies with the app data.
