Where Does VPet Store Saves and Settings?

VPet keeps its Saves folder and Setting.lps inside the install directory, so updates and verifies can replace them.

Last updated

VPet, listed on Steam as VPet-Simulator, stores its data beside the game executable. Saves go in a Saves folder in the install directory, and Setting.lps sits next to it. That makes the game easy to carry on a portable drive, but it also puts your data in the path that Steam verifies and replaces during updates.

Steam Cloud is enabled. A manual copy is still worth keeping because a reinstall can wipe the folder before cloud sync catches up. If you use mods, back up the whole install folder, not just Saves.

Where VPet stores this, by platform

Windows
<SteamLibrary>\steamapps\common\VPet\Saves

Save folder inside the install directory. Setting.lps is in the parent folder. Steam Cloud is enabled, but verify or reinstall can overwrite local files.
