Where Does Naver Whale Store Your Profile?
Whale keeps its Chromium profile in a Naver Whale User Data folder in LocalAppData on Windows.
Last updated
Naver Whale is Chromium under the hood, so its folders rhyme with Chrome's. The profile lives at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Naver\Naver Whale\User Data, with per-profile Default and Profile N subfolders holding history, logins, extensions, and cache. Crash reports land in Crashpad\reports beneath it.
The File System subfolder is the space hog to know about. Web apps stash opaque data there that never appears in the visible download history. When C: fills mysteriously on a Whale machine, this folder is suspect number one.

Frequently asked questions
How do I back up my Whale profile manually?
Open the Default or profile folder under User Data and back up Bookmarks, Login Data, and Preferences with Whale fully closed. Copy them into the same place on the new machine before first launch for a clean transfer.
Whale is using tens of gigabytes. What is eating the space?
Check the File System folder under your profile. Chromium-based browsers cache web app data there, and it can balloon to tens of gigabytes. Clear browsing data for all time in settings to drain it.
