WRC Generations splits saves from settings across two places. Career progress lives in the Steam userdata tree under app ID 1953520, synced by Steam Cloud. Graphics and input settings live separately in Documents/My Games/WRCG as UserSettings.cfg.
That split is the whole backup story. Copying only Documents preserves options without the career, and copying only userdata preserves the career without options. Grab both trees with the game closed for a full move. The KT engine layout matches no Unreal pattern, so generic guides miss it.
