Where Does ZoomNotes Store Notes and Backups?
ZoomNotes notebooks on iOS plus iCloud, WebDAV and PDF backups.
Last updated
ZoomNotes keeps infinite canvas notebooks in its app container on iPad and iPhone with iCloud or WebDAV sync when enabled. Backups export as .znote archives plus PDFs.
There is no browsable notebook folder on stock OS. Moving devices means turning on sync first, then restoring on the new iPad. Export board PDFs separately for safekeeping.

Files exposure for backups and PDFs; core notebooks stay in the container plus iCloud or WebDAV when linked. Migrate with iCloud backup and the same Apple ID.
Frequently asked questions
How do I back up ZoomNotes?
Turn on iCloud or WebDAV sync and run a manual backup to Files, then copy PDFs elsewhere. Restoring means the same account on the new iPad before opening boards.
Can I read ZoomNotes on a PC?
Only through exported PDFs, not raw notebooks. Private storage is not browsable. Keep both archive backups and PDF exports for class work.
