Where Does Blippo+ Store Saves and Settings?
Blippo+ writes everything into one LocalLow folder under Noble Robot, save data and settings side by side, with Steam Cloud behind it.
Last updated
Blippo+ keeps a low profile on disk. Everything it writes lands in one place: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Noble Robot\Blippo+, with the save data and the settings living side by side rather than in the usual split of a saves folder and a config folder.
That makes backup and cleanup simple. Steam Cloud tracks the folder, and because it is tiny, syncing has never been a problem. The plus sign in the folder name trips up the occasional backup script, so if a tool insists the folder does not exist, that is the detail to check.
Where Blippo+ stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Noble Robot\Blippo+
Save data and settings share this single folder. Steam Cloud syncs it, and the whole thing is only a few megabytes, so a manual copy is cheap insurance before a patch.
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/3323850/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Noble Robot/Blippo+
The Windows build through Proton on Linux and Steam Deck, inside the prefix for app ID 3323850. The simulation is not demanding, so a Deck runs it without complaint.
Frequently asked questions
Where exactly does Blippo+ keep its data?
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Noble Robot\Blippo+. Paste that into the Explorer address bar, since AppData is hidden by default. Save data and settings share this one folder.
How do I back up Blippo+ progress?
Copy the whole Blippo+ folder somewhere else. It is a few megabytes at most, Steam Cloud already keeps a copy, and restoring is a drag and drop with the game closed.
Can I reset the game without reinstalling?
Close it, move the save files out of the folder, and launch again. The game recreates what it needs and starts fresh. Keep the old files somewhere if there is any chance you want that version of the broadcast back.
