Where Are Escape From Duckov Save Files Located?
Duckov stores every profile in AppData\LocalLow\TeamSoda\Duckov\Saves, a folder the usual %APPDATA% advice will not find.
Last updated
Duckov is a Unity game, and it saves like one: everything sits in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\TeamSoda\Duckov\Saves as .sav files, one per profile alongside the automatic ones the game writes between raids. The parent folder is named TeamSoda, the studio's handle, not the game's.
The classic mistake with Unity titles is looking in %APPDATA%\Roaming, which is a different tree. LocalLow is where Duckov actually writes, and once you are there, the Saves folder is small, self-contained, and safe to copy. Steam Cloud syncs it, so switching PCs works without the folder ever being opened by hand.
Where Escape From Duckov stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\TeamSoda\Duckov\Saves
One .sav per profile plus automatic saves. If a guide sends you to %APPDATA%\Roaming, that is the wrong tree; the game is under LocalLow, and the folder is named after the TeamSoda studio.
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/3167020/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/TeamSoda/Duckov/Saves
The Windows build through Proton on Linux and Steam Deck, inside the prefix for app ID 3167020. The game is light enough for a Deck, and the save layout is identical.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my Escape From Duckov save file?
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\TeamSoda\Duckov\Saves, with one .sav per profile plus automatic saves. If something points you at %APPDATA%\Roaming, that is the wrong tree for this game.
Can I copy my stash and progress to another PC?
Copy the Saves folder with the game closed on both machines, or sign in and let Steam Cloud do it. Keep only one machine running the game until sync settles, or the two copies can fight over which file is newer.
What are the extra .sav files I did not create?
Autosaves and backups written between raids. They are the safety net when a crash lands mid-extraction. Pruning them by hand is possible, but they cost kilobytes, so leaving them alone is the better trade.
