The Dead Space remake skips AppData entirely and saves into Documents under a Dead Space (2023) folder. Slot files named SG01-01.sav sit in a steam subfolder with AS autosaves beside them.
Do not confuse it with the 2008 original, which used an EA Games tree. Impossible mode permits a single slot, so back up before the final stretch if the Hand Cannon matters to you.
