Where Does Filmora Store Projects and Backups?
Filmora project, backup and output folders on desktop, and why .wfp files travel without media.

Filmora defaults projects to Documents\Wondershare Filmora\Projects (.wfp files, .wve on ancient builds), timed backups to a Backup sibling every few minutes, and exports to Output. Exact Wondershare nesting shifts between versions, so confirm under Preferences, Folders.
A .wfp holds references, not media: moving or renaming source clips breaks projects on open with a Locate Missing Files prompt. Archive Project bundles .wfp plus sources for machine moves. OneDrive protected Documents causes classic save failures; exclude the tree or relocate it. Temp render fragments sit in Local Temp and never need backup.

Where are Filmora autosaves after a crash?
In the Backup folder beside Projects (check File, Open Project, Backup folder). They capture timed snapshots, not continuous state, so recent edits may still be missing.
