Where Does Lark Store Cache and Local Data?
Lark stores desktop data in a LarkInternational folder in AppData on Windows and Application Support on Mac.
Last updated
The Lark desktop app keeps its data outside the install folder. On Windows the reset path is %APPDATA%\LarkInternational, with heavy caches (chat media, offline docs) under a LarkShell folder nearby. On macOS it is ~/Library/Application Support/LarkInternational. Lark's own help names these folders as the ones to delete for a data reset.
Naming confuses people. Domestic Feishu and international Lark share code but use different folder names (Feishu, Lark, LarkShell, LarkInternational) depending on build and region. Check which of these exist before deleting anything, and quit the app fully first.
Where Lark stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\LarkInternational
Official reset target per Lark help. Bulk media cache sits in the sibling LarkShell folder. Quit all Lark processes before deleting.
~/Library/Application Support/LarkInternational
Same reset role as Windows. Open with Go to Folder in Finder. Cache-heavy media lives under related Lark support folders nearby.
Frequently asked questions
How do I reset Lark when it misbehaves?
Quit Lark completely, delete the LarkInternational data folder for your OS, and relaunch. Lark rebuilds caches and settings from the server. Downloads you saved elsewhere are unaffected.
Why does Lark fill my C: drive after installing to D:?
Install location and data location are separate. Caches and logs default under AppData regardless of where the program sits. Move the download folder in settings for the easy win.
