Where Does Line2 Store Calls and Texts?

Line2 second number calls and texts on Android and iPhone, and the account that owns the number.

Last updated

Line2 adds a business second line for calls, texts and voicemail. Numbers attach to your Line2 account rather than the SIM. Apps on Android and iPhone render that account state.

Local storage under the app package holds cache and login tokens. iOS uses the container. Reinstalls show empty until sign in completes. For keepsakes, export inside the app.

Where Line2 stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/[line2-package]/files

Confirm the package in App info before browsing. History syncs from the account after login. Local files alone never restore a lapsed number.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

GUID changes per install. Porting and auto attendant rules live in account settings, not the container. Sign in first, then let sync finish.
