Where Does MailMate Store Messages and Index?
MailMate keeps raw messages plus a search index under Application Support. The Messages and Database folders.

MailMate stores everything under ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate. Raw messages sit in Messages.noindex (a Messages symlink may point at a custom spot), each in standard .eml format inside account hierarchies. The search index lives in Database.noindex beside it.
Plists for accounts and resources share the folder with Bundles, while main prefs sit at ~/Library/Preferences/com.freron.MailMate.plist. Migrating means copying the whole MailMate folder plus the plist; a custom Messages location travels separately. Rebuild a corrupt index from the manual's Terminal recipe rather than deleting blindly.
