Where Does the Meine AOK App Store Data?

Meine AOK keeps mailbox, session and ePA links in private storage on Android and iOS under distinct IDs.

Last updated

Meine AOK ships under two vendor IDs that look close yet differ by platform. The Android form uses one vendor string, while the iOS form uses another, so support requests need the exact string from system app info. Private storage on each side holds login session and document cache, with iOS adding a per install GUID container.

Letters, bonus entries and ePA links sync from AOK servers after login, which means local files cache rather than own the record. Before a device reset, export sick notes and bonus confirmations as PDF from inside the app. On the new phone, re authenticate to pull the mailbox down again.

Where Meine AOK stores this, by platform

Android
/data/data/de.aoksystems.amg

Private session and mailbox cache for the verified Android package. Documents sync from AOK servers after login.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

GUID container for bundle de.aok-bv.amg (App Store ID 1406830270). Note the vendor string differs from Android.
