Where Is the OneDrive Folder Located?
OneDrive's default sync folder on Windows, the Personal split, and the backup redirect gotcha.

OneDrive syncs to a OneDrive folder in your user profile by default, with work accounts appearing as OneDrive then company name beside the Personal tree. Everything below it mirrors the cloud whenever you are online.
The real surprise is folder backup. Enabling it moves Desktop, Documents and Pictures inside OneDrive, so an empty Documents folder usually means the files now live under OneDrive instead of being gone.
Where OneDrive stores this, by platform
C:\Users\[Username]\OneDrive
Personal default. Multi account setups show OneDrive - Personal plus OneDrive - CompanyName. Move it via Settings > Account > Unlink, relocate the folder, then relink.
