Where Does Remini Save Enhanced Photos?
Remini saves enhanced photos to your gallery and Photos library, separate from the originals.
Last updated
Remini enhances in the cloud and delivers the result back to your phone. Saving that result writes a new photo into your gallery or Photos library, sitting next to the original rather than replacing it.
That separation is the whole backup story. Your camera roll holds both versions once you save, and either one survives without the other. Anything still sitting only in Remini's history has no second copy, so save the keepers before clearing the app.
Where Remini stores this, by platform
Gallery / DCIM (saved enhancements)
Enhanced copies save to the gallery as new files alongside originals. Check storage permission if saves silently fail, and confirm each keeper exists in the gallery before clearing app data.
Photos app (saved enhancements)
Saved enhancements land in the Photos library as separate images. Anything left only in Remini's in-app history has no backup, so save keepers to Photos first.
Frequently asked questions
If I delete the original photo, do I lose the enhancement?
The enhanced copy is a new file, so it stays even if you delete the original. Originals live wherever they started, usually the camera roll already.
My enhancement finished but is not in my gallery. Why?
Grant photo library permission and retry the save. Remini processes in the cloud, so airplane mode or a blocked permission both produce the same missing file.
