Where Does Ryujinx Store Save Files?
Ryujinx files Switch saves under a bis folder with numeric names, so the in-app shortcut is the only sane way to find a game.

Ryujinx mirrors the Switch NAND layout, which means saves live several folders deep under a directory called bis. The folder names are hexadecimal save IDs rather than game titles, so guessing which folder belongs to which game from Explorer is a losing game.
Use the emulator itself. Right click a game in the library and choose Open User Save Directory. That jumps straight to the right folder. Portable mode moves the whole tree into a portable folder beside the Ryujinx exe, handy for keeping everything on one drive.
Where Ryujinx stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\Ryujinx\bis\user\save
Each game gets a numeric folder such as 0000000000000003 under here. Back up the folder matching your game, not the whole bis tree.
~/.config/Ryujinx/bis/user/save
Same internal layout as Windows. With portable mode the saves live in the portable folder next to the binary instead.
Frequently asked questions
Which numbered folder belongs to my game?
Do not guess from the numbers. Right click the game in Ryujinx and open its save directory directly, then read the address bar. That folder is the one to back up.
Can two Windows users share one Ryujinx save?
Not by default, since the path sits under each user's AppData. Point both installs at one portable folder, or symlink one bis directory to the other, then test before trusting it.
