Where Does Sizzy Store Settings and Layouts?
Where the Sizzy browser keeps profiles, settings and cache on Windows and Mac, and how to migrate layouts safely.
Last updated
Sizzy follows the Electron convention: one user data folder per OS with Preferences, Local Storage and cache inside. Layouts, devices and login state all live under that parent. The pattern matches other Electron browsers, so the folder is easy to spot once you know the parent.
The folder name tracks the app name, but installer variants can differ by a word. If the path below does not match, check the app's About or reinstall location, then look for a sibling with Sizzy in the name. Copy the whole folder with the app closed for a clean move.
Where Sizzy stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\Sizzy
Electron data with Preferences and Local Storage for layouts. Close the app before copying. Cache subfolders are safe to delete when the UI misbehaves.
~/Library/Application Support/Sizzy
Same Electron layout under Application Support. Reach it through Finder Go to Folder. Copy the whole folder to move layouts between Macs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I back up Sizzy layouts and settings?
Close Sizzy and copy its user data folder elsewhere. Restoring means dropping it back before launch. Cloud synced items return on sign in, local layouts need the copy.
How do I clear the Sizzy cache without losing layouts?
Quit Sizzy and delete the Cache and Code Cache subfolders inside its data directory. Preferences and Local Storage stay, so layouts survive a cache clear.
