Where Does Symfonium Store Offline Cache on Android?
Symfonium keeps offline cache in private app storage on Android, managed from offline settings, not file copy.
Last updated
Symfonium caches server and cloud music for offline play in its private folder, typically under Android/data/app.symfonik.music.player. Scoped storage blocks other players from reading it. That is intentional, since play counts and resume points sync back to the server.
Manage cache from Settings, then Offline, cache and download. You can set quality, auto cache rules, and playback cache. Manual downloads to the shared Downloads folder are the only portable copies.
Where Symfonium stores this, by platform
Android/data/app.symfonik.music.player (offline cache)
Holds transcoded offline copies plus image and tag caches. Other apps cannot read it. Change limits and cleanup from inside Symfonium settings.
Frequently asked questions
Why can another player not see Symfonium cache?
Android restricts Android/data to the owning app. Symfonium keeps resume points and server sync tied to its own files. Export with the download to Downloads option if you need a plain file.
How do I reduce Symfonium storage use?
Open offline settings and lower cache quality or disable auto cache for favorites. Remove cached albums from their detail screens. Playback cache alone can grow large on bad networks.
