Where Does VSeeFace Store Settings?

Where VSeeFace keeps settings.ini, tracking config and screenshots on Windows.

Last updated

VSeeFace is a Unity app, so its settings live in the Unity LocalLow folder under the developer name Emiliana_vt. The headline file is settings.ini with tracking, smoothing and model options. Logs for debugging sit beside it and rotate as you restart.

Back up that one folder before reinstalling or testing beta builds. Community switcher tools also target settings.ini directly, which is why the path shows up in every migration thread.

Where VSeeFace stores this, by platform

Windows
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Emiliana_vt\VSeeFace\

Holds settings.ini plus rotating debug logs. Copy the entire folder to migrate. Screenshots land separately under Pictures\VSeeFace. Close VSeeFace before copying or restoring.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move VSeeFace settings to a new PC?

Copy the whole Emiliana_vt VSeeFace folder to the same LocalLow path on the new PC. Model specific tuning, hotkeys and tracking options travel with settings.ini. Replug the camera and recalibrate once after the move.

Where do VSeeFace screenshots go?

Check the Pictures library in a folder named VSeeFace. The S key saves stills and Shift+S grabs with transparency handling there, separate from the settings folder.
