Where Does Whoscall Store Backups and Block Lists?
Whoscall backs settings and block lists through in-app Backup, restored on the new phone after login.
Last updated
Whoscall keeps its working data in private app storage: block lists, custom rules, and community labels cache. There is no user folder to copy. Migration runs through the official backup path under Home, then Settings, then Backup.
Create the backup before swapping phones, then restore right after install and login. Spam databases refresh from the network anyway. Your personal rules and reports are the part the backup actually saves.

Frequently asked questions
How do I move Whoscall to a new phone?
Run Backup in Whoscall settings on the old phone, install Whoscall on the new one, sign in, and restore. Offline number databases redownload, so keep a data connection handy.
Why did my block rules vanish?
The app was reinstalled or its data cleared without a backup. Restore the last backup if one exists. Otherwise rebuild rules and leave auto spam filtering on meanwhile.
