Wyze splits video three ways. The camera card holds local footage. Wyze cloud holds event clips with plan based retention. The phone holds manual snapshots and screen recordings from live view in the app Album.
Manual saves land in the gallery or Files, sometimes under a Wyze folder on Android. Devices follow your Wyze account. Failed cards cause most missing footage cases, especially in heat. Check Advanced Settings then Manage MicroSD Card status. Format in camera rather than PC for best compatibility.
