Where Does ACC Store Car Setups?
ACC files car setups as JSON in a Documents folder sorted by car and track, generated only after saving in game.

Kunos files everything in Documents as readable JSON. Setups sort into car folders then track folders, each file a named setup you saved or downloaded.
The folders do not pre exist. Until you save a setup for a car track pair, there is nowhere to put a download, which generates half the support questions. Save once in game, place the file, and reopen the setup screen. Controls and video settings sit beside setups in the same tree.

Frequently asked questions
My downloaded setup does not appear. Why?
Save any setup in game for that car and track first. The game creates the folder tree on first save, and downloaded JSON files only register inside existing folders. No restart needed: leave the setup screen and return.
Where are control and video settings?
Same Documents root with its own configs beside setups. Electronics, controls, and video settings live as JSON too, so one folder backup captures the whole driver profile.
