Where Does Dazz Save Photos?

Dazz saves finished retro photos to the camera roll while originals and drafts stay in the app.

Last updated

Dazz shoots through vintage looks and saves the finished frame to the camera roll. That exported photo is a normal image file and behaves like one everywhere.

The app itself keeps originals, drafts, and filter downloads in private storage. Reinstalling restores the purchasable looks through your store account but never the shots. Export first is the entire backup strategy.

Where Dazz stores this, by platform

Android
Gallery / DCIM (saved photos)

Finished retro shots save here as regular photos. Originals stay in-app, so confirm each keeper exists in the roll before deleting the app.

iOS
Photos app (saved photos)

Same split: exports to Photos, everything else in-app. Store-account purchases restore; drafts never do.

Frequently asked questions

How do I keep photos when switching phones?

The export in the camera roll is the keeper. Originals and unexported shots die with the app data, so save the look you like before clearing space.
