Where Does ProCCD Save Photos?
ProCCD saves finished retro shots to the camera roll while film rolls and drafts stay in the app.
Last updated
ProCCD mimics film cameras, and frames live only inside the app until developed. Developing writes the finished retro shot to the camera roll as a normal image.
The camera roll holds everything that matters; the app holds everything pending. Different film stocks change the look but never the storage rule. Finish the roll, confirm the shots, then delete freely.
Where ProCCD stores this, by platform
Gallery / DCIM (developed photos)
Developed shots save here as regular photos. Unexposed frames stay in-app, so finish the roll before deleting or reinstalling.
Photos app (developed photos)
Same film logic: develop to Photos or lose the frame. Film packs restore through the store account; photos never do.
Frequently asked questions
How do I keep photos when switching phones?
The developed photo in the camera roll is the keeper. Unexposed frames and drafts die with the app, so finish the roll before clearing space.
