Dexed organizes DX7 sounds as cartridge files in a Cartridges folder: %APPDATA%\DigitalSuburban\Dexed\Cartridges on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/DigitalSuburban/Dexed/Cartridges on Mac. Each .syx file holds a bank of 32 voices.
New downloads go straight there. Unzip the bank, drop the .syx files into Cartridges, and they appear in the CART browser. Keep one organized folder for carts even if you keep others elsewhere; hunting across drives for the right Rhodes bank gets old fast.
