Where Does InputMapper Store Profiles?
Where InputMapper keeps DualShock profiles and how to share them.
Last updated
InputMapper keeps user profiles in Roaming AppData under its own folder, with a Profiles child for per-game mappings and macros. The program directory holds the exe and drivers, so reinstalls without wiping AppData keep your setups.
Touchpad gestures and button swaps ride inside those profile files. Share single files with friends rather than whole folders to avoid overwriting their controller calibrations.

%APPDATA%\InputMapper\Profiles\
Per-game profiles and macros. Drop downloaded profiles here and pick them in the app. Back up this folder before Windows reinstalls; the program folder itself is disposable.
Frequently asked questions
How do I install a downloaded InputMapper profile?
Drop the shared file into the Roaming InputMapper Profiles folder and select it as active in the app. Community Witcher and shooter profiles install exactly this way.
How do I back up InputMapper?
Use the profile management section to export before reinstalling Windows. Profiles, macros and touchpad mappings live in AppData, while the program folder holds only binaries worth reinstalling fresh.
