Where Does MixItUp Store Settings and Data?

MixItUp keeps commands, user data, and backups in a MixItUp folder under Local AppData on Windows. What lives there is below.

MixItUp is a Windows-only streaming bot, and all of its state lives in one place: a MixItUp folder inside Local AppData. Commands, overlays, counters, user currency, chat history, and settings sit there together, separate from the program files.

You can open it from inside the app under Settings, then Advanced, then Installation Folder. The portable ZIP build uses the same folder, so switching between installer and portable keeps your data. Uninstalling the app leaves this folder behind on purpose.

Where MixItUp stores this, by platform

Windows
%LOCALAPPDATA%\MixItUp

Commands, settings, counters, and user data. Reach it by typing %localappdata%/MixItUp into the Explorer address bar. Cloud Sync (Patreon) copies selected data online, but local files stay authoritative.

Frequently asked questions

How do I back up MixItUp before updating?

Use Settings, then Advanced, then Backup Settings before big changes. That export plus a copy of the data folder covers a full restore on a fresh install.

How do I fully remove MixItUp and start over?

Uninstall the app first, then delete the MixItUp folder in Local AppData. The uninstaller leaves settings behind on purpose, so this step is what actually clears them.
