Where Does Notion Calendar Store Local Data?
Notion Calendar caches data in the Electron app folder on desktop, a path that may still carry the old Cron name.
Last updated
Notion Calendar began life as Cron, and the rename did not necessarily rename every folder on disk. If you installed it early, look for both names in the application support directories before concluding anything is missing.
Either way the contents are a cache. Your calendars live with their providers and your scheduling data with Notion, so wiping the local folder logs you out and re-syncs. It fixes stale event displays the same way reinstalling does, faster.
Where Notion Calendar stores this, by platform
~/Library/Application Support/Notion Calendar
Current name location. Early installs may still use a Cron named folder beside it, so check both. Deleting the right one forces a clean re-login and clears stuck event data.
%APPDATA%\Notion Calendar
Same story on Windows, with a possible Cron named sibling from older installs. Quit the app from the tray before removing anything, then sign back in.
Frequently asked questions
why do i have both cron and notion calendar folders
You installed before the rebrand and the updater kept the old folder. The app uses one of them. Confirm which by checking modification dates, migrate nothing by hand, and remove the stale one only after the new one works.
is it safe to delete notion calendar cache
Yes. Events re-sync from Google or Notion on next launch. You will sign in again and widgets may take a minute to repopulate, then everything matches the cloud.
