Where Does Picsart Save Projects and Drafts?

Picsart exports land in a Picsart folder in Pictures on Android and Recents on iOS, while drafts live in Collections.

Last updated

Finished Picsart edits save to your device gallery: a Picsart folder inside Pictures on Android, the Recents album on iOS, and the Downloads folder on web. If exports are missing, storage permission is the usual culprit, followed by a gallery that has not rescanned yet.

Unfinished work is different. Drafts live inside the app under Collections on your profile, not as files you can browse. Clearing app data wipes them, so export anything important before touching storage settings. Drawings on newer Android need a folder assigned in the Draw tool first.

Where Picsart stores this, by platform

Android
Internal storage/Pictures/Picsart (exports)

Finished photos and videos. Check the Gallery Albums tab too. Grant Photos and Videos permission under Settings > Apps > Picsart or saves fail silently. Drafts stay in-app under profile > Collections.

iOS
Photos app > Recents (exports)

Edits appear at the bottom of Recents, with videos also under Media Types. Drafts live in Collections in-app. Clearing data may remove unsaved work, so export first.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my Picsart drafts?

Open your profile and tap the flag icon for Collections. Drafts live there inside the app, not in your gallery. Export finished work to the device before clearing cache or data, since wiping storage can delete them.

My Picsart exports are missing from the gallery. Why?

Confirm storage permission is allowed for Picsart, then close and reopen the gallery or restart the phone to force a media rescan. On Android 11 and up, drawing projects also need a folder assigned inside the Draw tool.
