Where Does Plumble Store Servers and Settings?

Plumble keeps server bookmarks and certificates in private app storage, with voice staying live and unrecorded.

Last updated

Plumble is a Mumble client, so conversations evaporate by design: voice is never stored. What persists on the phone is the server list, nicknames, and any certificates you imported.

All of that sits in private app storage, unreachable without root. To move servers to a new phone, export bookmarks from inside the app or re-add them by hand. There is no file to copy with a file manager.

Where Plumble stores this, by platform

Android
/data/data/com.morlunk.mumbleclient

Private storage with the server database and preferences. Verify the package on the Play Store listing if the path is absent, since client forks rename it.

Re-add them manually or export from the app if your build offers it. The bookmark database lives in private storage that does not transfer with app reinstalls.

In the same private data folder. Back up any self generated certificate from inside Plumble before reinstalling, or the server will treat you as a new user.
