Vonage Business keeps calls, recordings and voicemail in the cloud behind the Admin Portal and Desktop App. The desktop build for Windows and Mac adds the softphone, SMS and team messaging. Mobile apps mirror the same account.
Local folders hold cache and login state only. Recordings download to wherever your browser or app points, commonly Downloads. Treat the Calls Recordings tab as the archive and local files as disposable.

Six months of call history shows here. On Demand recording gives 15 hours per extension. Play needs stereo output since recordings split channels. Downloads land in your chosen folder, not here.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find Vonage call recordings?
Open the Desktop App, go to Calls, then the Recordings tab. Play, download or delete from there. The tab only appears when recording is assigned and permitted.
How long does Vonage keep recordings?
120 days and 400 recordings in the app view, with oldest auto deleted past the cap. Deleted items sit in Recycle Bin for 7 days for Super User recovery. Removing the feature wipes everything.
