Local Webex recordings save as MP4 to your Documents folder on Windows and your Home folder on Mac. The newer Suite meeting platform may default to Downloads instead.
The location is choosable per recording. Set it before you hit record; moving it mid meeting is a good way to lose the file.

Default for in meeting local recordings. The save dialog offers a different folder each time. Never record straight to a network drive; Webex cannot play those back reliably.

Older docs cite the Home folder root; current builds offer Documents by default. The recording settings panel shows the live path before recording starts.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there no recording file after my Webex meeting?
Cloud recordings go to User Hub, not your disk. Local files only exist when local recording was enabled by the site admin and started from inside the meeting.
What format are Webex local recordings?
MP4 for current local recordings. Very old .arf and .wrf files need the Webex player or a conversion step.
